Our events adhere to the IBJJF ruleset and weight classes.

However, all blue, purple, brown and black belt fights will run for 6 minutes.

Cash Prizes

The following cash prizes will be given to female adult, female master, male adult and male master Gi open weight winners.

Following feedback from competitors, you will now have the option to enter the absolutes offering a cash prize for £15 entry.

There will be 2 open weight divisions per belt level, for men there will be:



For women, it will be:



White belt - £50 + Suave Gi

Blue belt - £150 + Suave Gi

Purple belt - £200 + Suave Gi

Brown/Black belt - £250 + Suave Gi

You can enter the absolutes giving a cash prize when registering or until registration closes-you do not need to medal on the day-we will not accept registrations at the event for this.

There will be absolutes without a cash prize for you to register to on the day, though you will need to medal in order to enter these.

Weigh Ins

You may weigh in from 9am, with priority given to those competing earlier, or up until a maximum of one hour before the start time of your division.

If you are registered for both Gi and No-Gi, you will weigh in once in the gi.

Junior and Juvenile athletes will weigh in by the side of the mat when their division is called to begin.

There is no weight allowance in any division.


Gi divisions will run first in the morning, followed by all cash prize Gi absolutes, then the No-Gi divisions and finishing with the regular Gi and No-Gi absolutes. Junior and Juvenile divisions will be scheduled for the morning.

The full event schedule will be released the week of the event.


If we cannot find an opponent in your division and you do not wish to merge to another, you will be issued a refund.

Refunds for injury etc will only be given up until 2 weeks before the event. This is due to bracketing and scheduling.
